DC unveils new digital vaccine records portal
DC on Thursday unveiled a new portalreplacing MyIR, which allows residents to retrieve a digital copy of their vaccination records.
Why is this important: The digital vaccination record can be used to show proof of vaccinations required for DC to enter certain indoor locations.
- A physical vaccination card or photo of one’s card will still suffice, according to DC Health.
Yes, but: Some DC residents have told Axios that the portal does not show their complete vaccination records.
- DC Health did not immediately return requests for comment from Axios. But the portal is FAQs says the agency can’t guarantee check-ins for everyone if their data doesn’t match data from a DC provider.
What to do: If your records aren’t showing up, try submitting the form again. If it still doesn’t work, call DC Health at 1-855-363-0333.
