INEC begins uploading polling station results to portal – THISDAYLIVE

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has started uploading the results of Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Osun State to the commission’s results viewing portal.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the uploading of election results began shortly after the close of voting and the sorting of votes in some polling units across the state.

As of 5:35 p.m. Saturday, results for no less than 1,707 out of the 3,763 voting units in the state’s 30 local government areas had been uploaded to the portal:

No less than 34 results out of 95 polling stations in Isokan Local Government Area had been uploaded to the portal, while 65 out of 100 had also been uploaded for Obokun Local Government Area at the time of completing this report. .

For Olorunda LG, 74 out of 193 polling station results were uploaded to the portal as well as 72 out of 121 for Odo-Otin local government area.

For Iwo LGA, 48 out of 170 polling station results were uploaded; for Irepodun, 52 out of 133 results were uploaded, while 18 out of 62 polling station results for Ola-Oluwa LGA were also uploaded. (NOPE)
