MAVIM (Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal) has created an e-commerce platform with the aim of establishing social and economic progress for women through sustainable development.












The portal provides a platform for women entrepreneurs and farmers to expand their business opportunities and reach a wider customer base. This was unveiled on International Women’s Day.

On January 20, 2003, the government of Maharashtra appointed MAVIM as the nodal agency to undertake different programs to empower women through self-help groups (SHGs).

MAVIM is the state Women Development Corporation and is overseen by the Department of Women and Child Welfare. MAVIM is committed to creating opportunities and business opportunities for women, as well as investing in women’s human capital and capacity development, to empower them economically and socially and enable them to access means. sustainable livelihoods.












The aim is to improve women’s overall abilities, including self-confidence and independence. Also, encourage women’s entrepreneurial growth and synchronize employment opportunities and market linkages. Also, as a step towards sustainable development, enable women to access equal opportunities, prosperity and participation in governance, and build grassroots institutions for SHGs. Through numerous self-help groups, 1.5 million women are organized and linked to MAVIM.
