People from the tourism sector invited to share their views on the agency’s work |


The government tourism agency is asking people in the industry for their opinion.

Visit Isle of Man has launched its 2019 “How Can We Help” survey.

It is designed to see how well it interacts with business and seek advice on how to improve its operation.

Visit Isle of Man works with tourism related businesses including hotels and guesthouses, attractions, event planners, and restaurants.

It also offers training and development opportunities and networking events.

Angela Byrne, Director of Visit Isle of Man, said: “Our goal is to work with the industry to make the Isle of Man a quality tourism destination, which is based on continuous improvement in product quality and service levels as the industry evolves alongside the needs of our future visitors We hope this process will help us provide the best possible support.

“We also want to remind everyone in the industry to sign up for the monthly trade newsletter, which includes key information and details on available events and training sessions.

“It is a constant theme of the survey that tourism service providers would like to be kept abreast of the ongoing work at Visit Isle of Man and this electronic newsletter has been developed to handle this, alongside our regular meetings and direct business contacts. . ‘

Based on feedback from last year, the department has organized more training, including digital marketing sessions, website workshops, and walk-in sessions.
