PropTech Claim – We are better for agents than Right…
PropTech Homesearch has released technology that it says allows every agent to offer a white-label search engine.
And it claims that this search engine has 100 times more options than portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla.
Homesearch says this technology took three years of development work and “will generate leads, instructions and revenue from this relatively untapped area of customer service.”
The company says the agency industry is largely dominated by portals like Rightmove and Zoopla.
“Homesearch’s new innovation will, however, both reduce consumer reliance on portals and put the agent at the heart of the conversation with the customer early in the process,” the firm continues.
Giles Ellwood, Managing Director of Homesearch, says, “By focusing on this early part of their journey, agents will begin relationships, gain direction and avoid competition sooner.
The agent not only receives a request from the user, but also their home address and the list of properties that best suit their needs.
“This provides agents with the data needed to prospect those specific addresses and convert the prospect into a new and subsequent instruction,” Homesearch explains.
Ellwood continues: “We are extremely excited to be the first to develop and launch a market-wide property search engine that will truly revolutionize the industry.
“A modern real estate agency is about adding value to your clients and setting yourself apart from the competition by solving the real problems faced by all your clients, earlier in your process.”
He concludes: “We view this new product launch as truly disruptive. All for the primary purpose of unlocking instructions and increased revenue for Agents – the very reason Homesearch exists.
Around 18 months ago, wearethemarket was launched with the support of 28 independent businesses across 53 offices in Coventry and Warwickshire, accessing around 80% of available stock in the region.
And in May this year, Your Place was launched by the founders of Ideal Roommate, aimed at tenants and the Build To Rent industry.
In 2020, Residential People was launched – a free portal for agents in the sales and rental sectors, and with a sister portal for commercial properties.
