RIEHL, Jerry Jr. – Altered or Forged Documents and Plates and 5 Additional Charges

BOROUGH OF LITITZ – The LBPD arrested Jerry RIEHL Jr, 63, of Manheim, for falsified or counterfeit documents and plates, trademark infringement, driving while operating privilege is suspended/revoked, and summary of violations of the vehicle code of registration and title certificate Mandatory, driving a vehicle without an official inspection certificate and financial responsibility required.

On 8/30/2022 at approximately 5:13 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle being driven by RIEHL in the 300 block of South Broad Street after observing that the vehicle was being driven with inspection and emission certificates which did not appear genuine and expired registration. During the roadside check, officers determined that the inspection and emissions certificates displayed on the vehicle were counterfeit. Officers also discovered that RIEHL’s driver’s license was suspended and that the vehicle did not have a valid inspection certificate or insurance. RIEHL was arrested and transported to the Lititz Borough Police Department. RIEHL was treated and released. RIEHL will be subpoenaed to appear in district court for a preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing.

RIEHL is presumed innocent.
